The Corner is a community hub with many opportunities to connect with others throughout the week. Our focus is on the lonely and isolated, particularly the elderly living alone. A welcoming space, our focus is to provide gathering places in Merivale and St Albans for community neighbours and friends to share companionship, support, encouragement and fun. We offer our services and diverse activities in a culturally sensitive and non-judgemental manner. Come along and try out one of our groups!
The Corner St Albans meets for friendship and company over morning tea, weekly on a Wednesday from 10:30am-12:30pm, at Kohinga St Albans Community Centre, 1049 Colombo Street, St Albans. The Corner Merivale has a variety of ways to connect on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, from active classes, to tai chi, to scrabble, to a cuppa and a chat.
