Children and Youth

Tamariki (children) and rangatahi (youth) are an important and valued part of our community. They bring a life and inquisitiveness to our space that we would be poorer without.

Tamariki (Children)

Tamariki are welcome at all our services. However, the 10:30am service has been designed with children in mind.

The 10:30am service intentionally involves children in aspects of the service, and has a children's programme through part of the service where we tell Bible stories, pray, and do crafts and games together.

We also have several bigger events throughout the year with children in mind, from Easter egg hunts, to family movie nights, to a live donkey service on Christmas Eve.

Rangatahi (Youth)

Teenagers are very welcome in all our services, to simply be, or to serve (e.g. some assist the children's programme in the 10:30am service). We love having youth involved in aspects of church life.

Our Youth Group (years 7-13) is currently combined with St Barnabas Church, Fendalton, meeting on Tuesday nights at 7pm.

Our rangatahi (years 9-13) also have the opportunity to go to Easter Camp at Spencer Park combined with St Barnabas and St Margaret’s College.
