Baptism
At All Souls Church Merivale, we warmly invite you to consider baptism for yourself, or your children, as a sign of commitment to follow Jesus and belong to a church community. This sacred step is open to everyone, regardless of who you are, who you love, or who you call family.
Baptisms usually take place during one of our services, providing a beautiful opportunity to celebrate this significant milestone within our community.
No fee is charged for Baptism but if you wish to make a donation to the parish you are welcome to do so.

Confirmation
Confirmation is a significant step in the Christian journey that deepens faith and commitment. It allows people to affirm their baptismal vows, or those made on their behalf when they were young, and engage actively in their spiritual journey. There are some preparation sessions to talk through what is happening when you are confirmed and what you are committing to. In one of our services you are then confirmed in your faith as you reaffirm your vows, and a bishop places their hands on your head and prays for you.
Confirmation is available to any who have been baptised. Talk to one of the clergy if you are interested in taking this step.
