Every Sunday at 7.00pm starting today, while all communcal worship services are suspended, we invite you to join us and other faith communities in lighting a candle in your home.
While you light you candle, we ask you join us in a wave of prayer that will ripple out from homes everywhere.
The Archbishops and Bishops of the Anglican Church in Aotearoa New Zealand and Polynesia invite you to join us all in the following prayers.
"Pray for your families, your neighbours, our country, and those ill with the virus. Pray for our health professionals and all those on the frontline who are working tirelessly to care for our community. Pray for the lonely and the frightened. Pray for the courage and grace to be a comfort and a light to the world."
